She is survived by: her children, Mary Dean Silver (Mike Wise) of Boone, Steve, Randall Silver (Wanda) of Blowing Rock, Joe Silver of Crumpler and Rebecca Silver of Crumpler; her grandchildren, James Taylor (Kathy) of Watauga, TN, Nick Taylor (Stephanie) of Vilas, Zack Taylor (Emily) of Charlotte, Amanda Taylor of Banner Elk, Athen Silver (Hilary) of Deep Gap, Steven Silver (Angela) of Boone, Cameron Cooke of Boone, Anita Silver Barnwell (G. W.) of Asheville, Aaron Silver (Lela) of Blowing Rock and Allison Silver Ward (Chris) of Sugar Gove; her sister Maxine Parsons of Granite Falls; and her sister-in-law Ruth Silver Haigler of Georgia. She is also survived by 22 great- grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
