He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Absher Jenkins; his sons, Bobby Jenkins (Gina) of Crumpler and Kevin Jenkins (Olivia) of Crumpler; his mother Ella Mae Davis Jenkins of Crumpler; and his siblings, Barbara Houck (Willie) of Crumpler and Jim Jenkins of Crumpler. He was also cherished by four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
