He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Polston and Viola Churchwell Polston; and his siblings, Geraldine Blevins, Lily Jane Burchem, Skeet, Melvin and Lonnie Polston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sonya Abernathy (Andy) of Crouse and Tonya Henderson (Greg) of Georgia; and his sister Louise Campbell of Lexington.
