It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Aldridge (Crossnore, North Carolina), born in Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. Saunders and Azalee Jordan Saunders. She is survived by: her children, Robin Aldridge (Lee), Denise Watson (Bobby), Sherrye Mehaffey (Larry), Danny Aldridge (Kathey), Susan Eller (Doug) and Mark Aldridge (Gina). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
