Robert Phelps Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Phelps (Creswell, North Carolina), who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Zephaniah Henderson Phelps and Mary Martha White Phelps; and his siblings, Edison, Zephie Phelps, Jr., Edna Ambrose, Martha Jane Gibbs, Maxine Cullipher and Jeanette Avery.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Haire Phelps; his children, Robert W. Phelps (Helen) of Winston-Salem, NC, Donna Phelps Hoffman (Joseph) of Tobaccoville, NC and Sandra Phelps of New Bern, NC; his grandchildren, Chris Davenport (Amber), Megan Rathbun (Tyler), Jacob Hoffman (Kayla) and Charles Phelps (Gina); his great grandchildren, Levi Davenport, Hawkins Rathbun, Rydar Hoffman and River Hoffman; and his sister Agnes Barber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
