She was predeceased by: her parents, William Twiddy and Betty Sawyer Twiddy. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Elbert Barnes; her siblings, Betty M. Hariden, Durwood L. Twiddy and William "Billy" M. Twiddy, Jr.; her children, Richard L. Barnes (Rhonda) of Edenton, NC, Ann M. Curlings of Roper, NC and Tammy J. Barnes of North Port, FL; her siblings, Kenneth Jackson Twiddy of Reno, NV, Fran A. Bulter of Reno, NV and Maryann T. Lamb of Elizabeth City, NC; her grandchildren, Samantha Sutton, Jennifer Maguire, Phillip Curlings, Eric Barnes, Odin Barnes, Dalton Nuzzi, Alyssa Nuzzi and Ethan Bradley; and her great grandchildren, Scarlet, Aidan, Savannah, Eli, Tucker, Hayes, Devon and Ella.
