She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fort Alston and Myra Charlotte Wood Alston; her grandchild Brooke Byrum; and her siblings, Boyce Alston, Ethel A. Glasgow, Leatha A. Glasgow and Marjorie A. Johnson.
