She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Tarkington of Orlando, FL. and Shirley Tarkington Pelletier (Keith) of Creswell, N. C.; her grandson Andrew Pelletier of Rocky Mount, N. C.; her half-sister Bonnie Basnight; and her close friend Pixie.
