He is survived by: his children, Darinda K. Spear of Richmond, VA., Cindy S. Mariano (Ronald) of Portsmouth, VA., James L. Spear (Daphne) of Roper, N. C., Don W. Spear (Patty) of Creswell, N. C., Rondy C. Spear (Christine) of Creswell, N. C. and Dale E. Spear of Creswell, N. C.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
