He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel C. Williams and Leora Smith Williams; and his siblings, Beulah W. Harrell (Carey), Ailine W. Foutch (Russell), Lois W. Harris (Wilbur), Helen W. Forehand (Tom), Calvin Williams (Norma), Ruby W. Webb (J. W.), Distine Williams, Mary W. Elliott (Hubert), Thomas Williams (Jean), Ruth W. Holton (Herbert) and Melvin Williams (Esther).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Spruill Williams; his children, Lisa Williams Biggs (Tim) of Creswell, Amy Williams Berkey (Jason) of Bolivar, PA, Jack Howard Williams, Jr. (Wendy) of Washington and Shawn C. Williams (Carrie) of Smithfield; and his sister Hazel W. Black (Bill) of Edenton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many, many, nieces, nephews.
