He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Furlough Spencer and Jones Edward Spencer; and his siblings, Nathan Edward Spencer and Elizabeth Spencer Rose. He is survived by: his son Freddie Lee Spencer (Laura Landino Spencer); his grandchildren, Miriam Spencer Duva (Justin Christopher Duva) and Joseph Seaton Spencer; his son Jones Alan Spencer, Sr.; his grandchildren, Jones Alan Spencer, Jr. (Hayley Baur Spencer) and Abigail Hope Spencer; his daughter Kristana Spencer Copeland (Sidney Gene Copeland, Jr.); his grandchildren, Sidney Gene Copeland III, William Spencer Copeland (Christen Belch Copeland), Olivia Gretchen Holton and Matthew Henry Holton; his great grandchildren, Farrah Hope Spencer, Jones Alan Spencer, III and Delilah Grace Dickerson; his wife Wilma Twiddy Spencer; his daughter-in-law Donna Swain Spencer; his granddaughter-in-law Heather Roughton Spencer; and his sister Joan Spencer Smith (Carlton). He is also survived by sister-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
