He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius J. Haire, Sr. and Sarah Furlough Haire; his wife Barbara Marie Moran Haire; and his siblings, Elizabeth Haire Brickhouse, Maxine Haire Sawyer, Theodore Haire and Preston Haire.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa H. Alexander (Fred) of Creswell, NC, Crystal H. Greene of Hertford, NC, Sharon H. Hunt (Roger) of Newport News, VA, Paula H. Urben (Matthew) of Wilmington, NC and Carl J. Haire (Diane) of Newport News, VA; his sister Naomi Haire Ambrose of Creswell, NC; his grandchildren, Michelle Halfin (Kevin), Danny Haire (LeAnn), Karen Hunt, Julie Hunt, Michael Hunt (Sarah), Tracy Mccammon (Shane), Kelly Burnham, Albert Greene, Frances Alexander and Melissa Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Mykenzie, Lane, Brittney, Joshua, Emily, Jordyn, Brayden, Austyn, Conner and Colton.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Creswell Baptist Church (106 7th St, Creswell, NC 27928).
