He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas "Tommy" Greer and Geneva Sue Brown Greer; his siblings, Keith, Mike Greer, Terry Lee and Sherry Lynn Greer; his niece April Brown; his nephew Charlie Brown; and his great-nephew Payton Greer.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Jennifer Miller; his son Larry Greer (Pam) of Boone; his granddaughters, Holli Osborne (Isaac) of Mountain City, Chetola Greer of Lansing and Mahala Greer of Boone; his great grandchild Waylon Osborne of Mountain City; and his siblings, Wanda Brown (Wayne), Carl Greer of Creston, Timothy Greer (Jan) of Creston and Mark Greer (Wendy) of Creston. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
