We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 71, Susan Almond Beard (Creston, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Susan Almond farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Susan Almond is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Beard. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Maheuron Hadley (George Rembert); her sister Julie Lounibos (Phil); her nephew Justin Price (Lindsey Neshkoff); and her pet Izzie. She is also survived by two great nephews, many cousins, countless friends.
