He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Lewis and Mary Jane Weaver Lewis; his siblings, Lee Lewis, Everette Lewis, Blaine Lewis, Ollie Stanley, Gladys Bennett, Hattie Shaw, Marie Criswell and Pearl Finley; and his son-in-law Jerry Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Blevins Lewis; his daughters, Betty Lewis Wood of Creston and Perky Karmire (John) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Justin Wood (Monica) of Creston, Jessica Goodman (Billy) of West Jefferson and Gannon Karmire (Christine) of Holly Springs; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Wood, Gwyneth Wood, Caitlin Wood, Elizabeth Goodman, Kelsie Goodman, Adam Goodman and Molly Goodman; and his brother Wayne Lewis (Jane) of Crumpler. He is also survived by special friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers or food, memorials may be made to Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church, 1926 Rock Fence Road, Creston, NC 28615.
