He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joe Stephens, Jack Stephens (Barbara), Clayton Stephens, Francis Graham (Lawrence) and Celeste Oliver (Joe); and the mother of his children Linda Calhoun Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Stephens (Patty), Melissa Lafon (Dale) and Charlie Stephens (Linda); his close friend Brenda Pass; his grandchildren, Johnathan Stephens (Tiffany), Kimberly Stephens (Blake Helms), Danielle Maxson (Daniel), Jasmine Stephens, Makayla Smith (James) and Emily Stephens; his great grandchildren, Colby Stephens, Lilly Stephens and Addison Stephens; his siblings, Wilma Gamble, Joann Jones and Tom Stephens (Christine); and his sister-in-law Joyce Stephens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several special friends.
