He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Hash Osborne; his son David Osborne; his parents, Andy Lester and Queenie Sluder Osborne; and his siblings, Junior A. Osborne, James W. Osborne, Doris Roten and Mary Nell Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Norris of Sherrill's Ford and Carla Ruth Osborne (Tim Clark) of Raleigh; his daughter-in-law Glenda Osborne; his sisters, Frances Mullis and Shirley Pruitt; and his grandchildren, Tabatha Osborne, Davie Osborne, Thomas Mahaffey, Villa Main, Ashley Osborne, Kai Osborne (Dorian), Kayra Osborne (Lee), Emily Clark, Benjamin Osborne and Tyler Taylor. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
