He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grubb and Annie Lou Stephens Grubb; and his siblings, Burl, Ervin, Reece, G. V. Grubb and Laila Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Maglene Osborne Grubb; his son Lynn Grubb (Deb) of Creston; and his sisters, Essie Thomas of Winston-Salem and Sandra Miller of Greensboro.
