It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Bailey of Creedmoor, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Walter departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Walter. Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bailey and Hallie Bailey. He is survived by: his siblings, Mollie Cozart, Shirley Peace (Leonard), Brenda Terry and Haywood Bailey (Barbara); his close friend Mary Polk; his brothers, John Henry Bailey, Edward Jr. Bailey and James Bailey; his daughter Erika Bailey; and his brother-in-law Kirk Terry.
