She is survived by: her parent Meredith Ruth Fowler Thompson; her spouse Carl M. Phipps; her sons, Carl M. Phipps, Jr. (Dawn) of Benson and Christopher L. Phipps of Greenville; her grandson Harrison Grant Phipps; and her sisters, Barbara Jean Wilson of Rockwall, TX and Carolyn Thompson Prince of Creedmoor.
