He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Thomas Parrott Sr. and Irene Aurora Whitfield Parrott; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Craig and Everette Davis. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Davis Parrott; his children, Wendi Parrott Yancey (Franklin) and Samuel "Sam" Thomas Parrott III (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Nicolas Yancey, Dylan Yancey, Claire Yancey (Hunter), Hannah Parrott (Jonathan) and Emma Parrott; his siblings-in-law, Marion Herndon (Joe), Kathleen Tyner, Betty Nobels, Paula Bodenheimer (Chip) and Edward Davis; and his sisters, Lillian Gray and Lucy Hobgood. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family.
