She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Coley and Pearl Chappell Coley; and her sister Ruby Goss of Creedmoor. She is survived by: her children, Robert Ellington (Paula) of Creedmoor and Wanda Ellington O'Briant (Jim) of Roxboro; her siblings, Dealia Covington of Rockingham and Tillman Coley (Linda) of Durham; her grandchildren, James L. O'Briant IV and Lindsey Ellington Kapherr (Will); her great grandchild Lane Joseph Kapherr; and her caregivers, Barbara, Stephanie, Tammy and Crystal.
