It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Lorraine Spell Watkins (Creedmoor, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert B. Spell and Glennie Lester; her former husband W. H. Smith; and her husband James L. Watkins. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Smith Pulley of Norlina, Lisa Smith Willis of Norlina, Stanley Smith of Stem and Kenneth R. Smith of Stem; and her siblings, Carol Medlin of Butner and Donnie Spell of Dunn. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
