She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Miller Davis and Marion Ruth Townsend Davis; her husband Samuel "Sammy" Parrott Jr.; her siblings, Marie Craig and Everette Davis; and her brother-in-law Joe Herndon.
She is survived by: her children, Wendi Parrott Yancey (Franklin) and Samuel "Sam" Thomas Parrott III (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Nicolas Yancey, Dylan Yancey, Claire Yancey (Hunter), Hannah Parrott (Jonathan) and Emma Parrott; her siblings, Marion Herndon, Kathleen Tyner, Betty Nobles, Paula Bodenheimer (Chip) and Edward Davis; her sisters-in-law, Lillian Gray and Lucy Hobgood; and her caregivers, Bernice Foster, Fannie Mann and Rhonda Riley.
