He is survived by: his wife Ruth Crabtree Emory; his children, Steve Emory of Wake Forest, NC, Johnny Emory of Roanoke, VA, Lou Ann Tillotson, Amy Cowen and Gay McDonald; and his sister Sally Harris. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
