She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Obie Evans and Mary Ruth Rigsbee. She is survived by: her children, Zyretha Smith and Charles Lyon Jr. of Creedmoor; her sister Helen Jean Bradley; and her sister-in-law Hattie Atkins. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
