He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Zbonack and Bertha U. Gutusky; his wife Catherine (McIntyre); and his son Glenn Zbonack. He is survived by: his children, Kitty Mann, Jon Zbonack and Guy Zbonack; his daughters-in-law, Kaye Zbonack and Lisa Zbonack; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Mann, Lynea Zbonack, Megan Keogh, Katie Mann, Jenna Ingenito, Tanya Pasquale and Natalia Kerr. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
