She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kessler and Elizabeth Kessler. She is survived by: her husband Alfred Palmisano; her children, Andrew Palmisano (Kathy) of Raleigh, NC, David Palmisano of Boulder, CO and Kelly Shumway (Mike) of Madison, CT; her siblings, John Jr. Kessler (Kathy) and Cheryl Milovich (late Tim); her grandchildren, Kira, Miles, Mason and Wyatt; and her nieces and nephews, Zachary, Kayleen and Karlee.
There will be a celebration in Connecticut of Karen's life when the pandemic restrictions are lifted.
