She was predeceased by: her husband William "Billy" Cole Thomas; her parents, Maurice Garner and Grace Garner; and her daughter Becky Thomas Turner. She is survived by: her children, Dawn T Armstrong (David) and W. Gary Thomas (Judy); her grandchildren, Megan W. Bizzell (Adam), Lauren T. Teague (Nicholas) and William A. Thomas (Nathalie); and her sister Ann G. Brinkley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home - Creedmoor (834 N Main St, Creedmoor, NC 27522). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Gardens (102 Moss Rd, Creedmoor, NC 27522).
