He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Leland Dovey and Anna May Brashear. He is survived by: his wife Pat Hill Dovey of Creedmoor, NC; his daughter Diana Dovey Kelley of Creedmoor, NC; and his sister Patricia Ronk of Pooler, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
