She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Ray and Lilly R. Ray; and also Garland Blevins. She is survived by: her children, Angela Blevins Watkins of Oxford and Ronnie Garland Blevins (Dan Margoni) of Durham; her grandchildren, Joshua Watkins of Tennessee and Lauren Watkins (James Adams) of Bermuda; and her niece Carolyn Ray Holmes (Johnny) of Franklinton. She is also survived by sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
She had the brightest smile that brought great joy to the many lives she touched. Due to COVID-19, a private family graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and she was the last of 11 siblings.A public viewing will be held at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
