She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleacy B. Gupton and Iris Lynn Gupton; her husband William Ausey Gilliam; and her siblings, Janet Lee, Carolyn Bolton and Bobby Gupton.
She is survived by: her children, Jerri Gail Suggs (Kenneth) of Rougemont and Gary Gilliam (Kathy) of Creedmoor; and her siblings, Renee Mangum of Rougemont and Billy Gupton of Butner. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
