He is survived by: his wife Nell Howell Hart; his children, Judy Hart Thomas (Gary) of Durham, Bruce Hart (Betsy) of Kittrell and David Hart (Crystal) of Creedmoor; his sister Gladys Godsey of Oxford; his grandchildren, Daniel Hart (Brandi), Joseph Hart, Lauren Thomas, William Thomas and Ethan Hart; and his great grandchild Liam Hart.
