She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Averette and Lillie Lee Longmire Averette; her husband Roger L. Overton Sr.; and her brothers, Willie E. "Pete" Averette and Lenward Averette.
She is survived by: her son Michael Todd Cash (Debbie) of Clayton, NC; her granddaughter Makenzie E. Cash; her stepchildren, Robin Lewis of Virginia Beach, VA, Roger Lee Overton Jr. (Jill) of Gastonia, NC and Robert Overton (Kristy) of Spartanburg, SC; and her sister Sarah A. Mangum. She is also survived by four nephews and nieces; as well as many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (2677 NC-56, Creedmoor, NC 27522). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
