She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bertrum Morris and Edith Ellis Morris; her daughter Toni McFarland; and her sister Linda Fletcher. She is survived by: her husband William Allen McFarland; her children, Diane Dutton (Gerald), Lori Allsbrook (Raby) and Nelan McFarland (Gail); her grandchildren, Jamie Wrenn (Sierra), Casey Wrenn (Kasey Lynn), Courtney Matthews (Jarrod), Shayna McFarland and Alyssa McFarland; her great grandchildren, Evelynn, Owen Wrenn, Wyatt Matthews and Noah; and her brother Buddy Morris (Karen).

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Pittsboro Christian Village, 1825 East St, Pittsboro, NC 27312 or Bible Baptist Church, 2047 Gate 2 Rd, Creedmoor, NC 27522.
