With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald G. Murphy of Cramerton, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ford Murphy and Dorothy VanDyke Murphy; his wife Margaret Rebecca "Becky" Murphy; and his siblings, David Murphy and Debbie Pressley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Crystal Jones of Cramerton and Sherry Garceau (David) of Cramerton; his brothers, Nathaniel "Nat" Murphy and Dean Murphy; and his grandchildren, Kyle Jones (Victoria) and Courtney Jones. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Carolina Wildlife Federation.
