She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J Smith and Sarah Ellen Peavy Smith of Cramerton, NC.; her husband Daniel Harold Beaty; and her siblings, Willie L Smith Roy (Ruby), Virgil Smith Luther Smith (Ruby), Eunice Smith, Edna C Smith Bridges Thelma (Harley) and Smith Weathers Katie Ruth (Ned).
She is survived by: her children, Joy Beaty Gibson (Larry) of Gastonia, NC, Melanie Beaty Duncan (Max) of Elizabethtown, NC, Michael A Beaty of Gastonia, Vickie, Jeffrey S Beaty (Betty Jean) of Mt Holly, NC, Myra B Adams (Vernon) of Wilmington, NC, Todd Beaty (Sonya) of Bessemer City, NC, Kristie B Crisp (Ike) of Cramerton, NC., Thank Marla, Claudette and Shantea. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
