Janet C. DePriest Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet C. DePriest of Cramerton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Samuel Jones Crawley Jr. and Julia Crisp Crawley. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Julie Perry (Burch) of Edenton and Fred Mills Jr. (Rachel) of Raleigh; her siblings, Sam J. Crawley III (Kristy) of Yadkinville, Sidney (Jennie) of Mission Hills, Kansas, Linda Perry (John Potts) of Atlanta and Elizabeth Haste (Gary) of Virginia Beach; and her grandchildren, Bryson Perry, Warner Perry, Fred Mills III and Cate Mills.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cleveland Memorial Park (1225 College Ave, Shelby, NC 28152).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Belmont First Presbyterian Church, 102 S. Central Ave., Belmont, NC 28012, or directed to Hurricane Helene relief efforts through organizations such as Mountain Projects at https://mountainprojects.org.
