She was predeceased by: her parents, Odis Sorrows and Eula Sorrows; her husband Dewey Safrit; her son-in-law Nathan Cloninger; and her siblings, Sorrells, Virginia Laws (Ed), Frances Royston (Aaron) and Betty Sewell.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Cloninger, Danny Safrit (Cindy), Jeff Safrit (Debbie) and Johnny Safrit (Myra); her grandsons, Kevin Safrit (Holly), Derek Safrit (Stephanie), Jonathan Safrit (Ashley), Brandon Safrit (Robyn), Brian Safrit (Jessie) and Matthew Safrit; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Megan, Madison, Peyton, Rae Ann, Bailey, Branson and Bryson; and her sister Joann Patterson (June). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
