He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Pearson and Dovie Pearson; his wives, Dorothy Dixon Pearson and Luana Pearson; and his brother Frank Pearson.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Pearson (Sandra) of Cramerton and Susan Thomas (Troy) of Gastonia; his sister Ivene Painter of Charlotte; his grandsons, Shawn Pearson (Heather) of Gastonia and Jason Slaughter of Gastonia; and his great grandchild Lindzey Pearson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, 171 S. Main St., Cramerton, NC 28032.
