He is survived by: his wife Marcia Diane Cates; his daughters, Susan Cates and Pamela Abbott; his son-in-law Bob Abbott; and his sister Evelyn Hicks. He is also survived by Five Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
