It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Fisher (Cramerton, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Calvin Abernathy and Mary Beatrice Finger Abernathy; her husband Lloyd "Tink" Edward Fisher; and her siblings, Betty Merrill Caldwell, Judy Diane Helms and Robert Lee Abernathy.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bynum, John Buhl, Rick Lingerfelt (Karen), Sandy Farrow (Debbie) and Lisa Michelle Fisher; her brothers, Benny Calvin Abernathy (Joyce) and Miller "Gene" Bailey Abernathy (Anna); her close friends, Jennifer Hanna, Louise Falter and Linda Elliott; and her pet Dolly. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
