He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan McCarter and I. T. Reece; and his wife Sarah Jane Wilkinson Reece. He is survived by: his children, Mira Reece Harris of Belmont and Timothy Gordon (Kim) of McLeansville, NC; his great grandchildren, Avery Blair, Everette Schuman, Easton Lafone, Caroline, Henry and Sarah Mitchum; his sister Kate Grice; and his siblings-in-law, Gladys Reece and Don Lingerfelt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
