He was predeceased by: his mother Lucy Gray McCoy. He is survived by: his father W. F. "Buck" McCoy of Cove City; his son James Franklin McCoy (Sallie Spring McCoy) of Glenpool, OK; his stepson Chris Harris of New Bern; his brothers, Romey Lyndon McCoy of Raleigh and Winfred Scott McCoy of Wilmington; his granddaughter Savannah Christine McCoy; and his stepgranddaughter Summer Lyann Negrete.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Woodley F. and Lucy G. McCoy Endowed Scholarship Fund at the University of Mount Olive, 634 Henderson Street, Mt. Olive, NC 28365.
