She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Golden and Eula Bell Golden. She is survived by: her husband Thomas King; her sons, Thomas L. King of New Bern, NC and Edward M. King of Dover, NC; and her sister Gaynell G. Boomer of New Bern, NC. She is also survived by one grandchild, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cherished friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 PM at the Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church (1228 Asbury Rd, Cove City, NC 28523). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Core Creek Cemetery (1012 Dover Rd, Cove City, NC 28523).
