He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Carroll Hawkins and Kenneth Wiggins; and his aunt Sherry Mitchell. He is survived by: his parents, John Carroll Hawkins (Amy) of Cove City, NC and Kellie Wiggins Kiser (Tom) of New Bern, NC; his sister Leslie Hawkins (Colbey) of New Bern, NC; his stepsiblings, Grant James of Starkville, MS, Emily Whitehead (Jake) of Odenton, MD, Justin Kiser (Kerry) of Holly Springs, NC and Jackson Kiser of Jacksonville, NC; and his grandparents, Wiley, Barbara Avery of Cove City, NC and Elinor Hawkins of Cove City, NC. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Core Creek FWB Church (PO Box 154 , Cove City, NC 28523), all funds collected will be donated to the exceptional children's program at New Bern High School.
