It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Johnson Kennedy of Cove City, North Carolina, born in Deep Creek, Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Jack Johnson; and her brother Leslie Wilson. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Sawyer (Jason) of Cove City; her siblings, Robert Wilson of Charlotte and Nancy Stiles of Portsmouth, VA; her grandchildren, Crystal Sawyer of Bridgeton and Michael Wilson of Cove City; and her great grandchildren, Nathan and Marley. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
