He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. McCoy and Ella Mae Smith McCoy; and his brothers, L. V. McCoy and Ben McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Myron Glenn McCoy (Michael) of Sonoma and Lisa McCoy Morse (Butch) of Cove City; his grandson Jonathan David Morse of Cove City; and his siblings, Allen McCoy, Joyce Riggs, Lois Wetherington and Betty Heath. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Core Creek Free Will Baptist Church (210 Trenton Rd, Cove City, NC 28555).
