He was predeceased by: his significant other Annie Ruth Sutton; his parents, Mark H. McCoy and Willie Stroud McCoy; his siblings, Lela Collins, Beatrice Meritt, Dorothy Johnson, Janie Kornegay, Jim McCoy and Arthur McCoy; his great grandchild Argent Lee; and his sons-in-law, Robert Earl Lee and Bobby Gene Mercer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Lee and Barbara Mercer; his grandchildren, Sonja Lee-Game (Timmy), Pam Daugherty (Charlie), Anthony Lee (Argen), Rhonda Grissom (Scott), Michael Lee (Christie) and Alisha Withers (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Brittany), Josh Daugherty (Jessi), Daniel Daugherty, Toni Martin (Justin), Caleb, Colyn, Corbin Grissom, Tyler Lee, Faryn Eubanks (Dustin), Tyler Jones and Ella Withers; his great great grandchildren, Paisley, Paxton Howard, Alivia, Allie, Amelia, Maverick and Branson Martin; and his siblings, Myrtle H. Holland and W. F. McCoy.
