She was predeceased by: her father Samuel L. Adams (Tom). She is survived by: her mother Reba Amerson Adams; her husband Johnnie Dawson; her children, Johnnie Dawson, Jr. (Julie) of Cove City and Katherine Hathaway of Greenville; her grandchildren, Georgia, Rachel Dawson, Adam and Davis Hathaway; and her siblings, Sammy Adams (Nancy) and Nancy Watson (Johnny). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
